Sedgewood Commons is a 95-bed Alzheimer's care community located in the beautiful countryside of Falmouth, Maine. We specialize in caring and providing services for people with Alzheimer's or dementia related illness.
Our specially designed living areas are secure and provide multiple walking routes for those who may choose to wander. The strength of our programs stem from the relationship we build with our residents and their families. We encourage our residents to be active as possible and remain independent. Within a homelike atmosphere, Sedgewood Commons provides residential, long-term and skilled nursing levels of care. Our Adult Day Services program gives family caregivers a break during the daytime hours, and is offered five days a week. Sedgewood Commons brings, respect and nurturing support to people throughout the course of their illness. Our caregivers use the ""Best Friends"" approach which focuses on the resident's life story to stimulate interest and direct attention. Our facility has been built on years of quality care and exceptional customer service that meets the health, social and recreational needs of our residents.
